Welcome to the Axis of Enlightenment.
I have been posting essays and opinionated articles about a variety of topics off and on for several years now over on my personal blog. However, that blog was originally meant to be a place where I could post content that is more personal and less serious. It wasn’t meant to be a place for discussing serious matters like social issues, government, religion, and so on, and the juxtaposition of these two very different types of content have been making it feel a bit awkward. So now, after much deliberation, I have decided to split all future non-personal content from that and move it to a new blog. This is that new blog.
Most of the content here will be new and posted as I write it because I want to stay up to date with what’s going on in the world and in my brain. But at the same time, I feel I have written some pretty good stuff in the past as well, so I will probably also be posting (and perhaps revising) some of my older content from my personal blog from time to time. Furthermore, I won’t necessarily be focusing on any single topic. Instead, the posts here will surely wander from issue to issue, just like my thoughts do. Naturally, I will be writing more about things that interest me, but this new blog has no specific raison d’être… at least not yet.I hope anyone reading this blog finds it interesting, and perhaps even eye-opening. As with any blog, feel free to write a comment or share an article with a friend if you like something.
